VMA Monitor allows configuring all eight tuners, each locking onto a transponder and scanning it in a round-robin loop. For every service found, it captures screenshots of FTA channels and presents the data through an integrated web server.
The resulting webpage shows, for each tuner:
- Lock status, symbol rate, level, and BER
- A complete service list (identifying TV, radio or data services and flagging encrypted services)
- Periodically updated thumbnails of each FTA video service
Additionally, the user can enable TS streaming on any tuner (either in the main window or directly from the webpage) to forward the Transport Stream for further analysis — for example with VMA Transport Stream Analyser, VMA Mosaic, VMA Video Analyser, or third-party tools such as TSReader or Dektec StreamXpert. The user can enable more than one tuner, up to all 8 simultaneously, to different network cards, IP’s or ports (if the computer and network can handle the data).
